Job Purpose

To manage employee welfare, statutory compliance, grievance handling and HR/Administration activities at the plant, ensuring effective communication between employees and management and maintaining a safe, healthy and cordial work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Welfare & Statutory Compliance
Ensure welfare amenities such as canteen, drinking water, sanitation, toilets, rest rooms, crche, parking, transport and housekeeping are properly maintained.
Ensure statutory welfare facilities are provided as per applicable labour laws and Factory Rules.
Assist in PF, ESIC, MLWF returns/challans and other statutory submissions.
Coordinate employee perks including insurance, maternity/adoption perks, medical check-ups and other welfare schemes.
Conduct regular inspections of welfare facilities and highlight gaps to management.
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling




Establish effective communication between workers and management and maintain cordial employee relations.
Listen to employee grievances, record them in the grievance register and coordinate timely resolution.
Counsel employees on wages, overtime, leave, benefits and company policies.
Assist in HR/IR initiatives, disciplinary matters and domestic enquiry-related documentation.
Assist in organizing statutory committee meetings, including POSH and other employee welfare committees.
Employee Engagement & Welfare Activities
Conduct health check-ups, awareness programmes, employee engagement activities, sports and welfare initiatives.
Educate workers on government/welfare board schemes, privileges and employee perks.
Coordinate uniforms, safety shoes, transport, canteen services and other employee facilities.
Coordinate plant functions, events and employee engagement programmes.
