Requirements
8+ years of software development with 5+ years in Java/Spring Boot microservices, including at least 1 banking, fintech, or financial services platform delivery
Solid Java proficiency: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud
Experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, DLQ patterns) and event-driven architecture
Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design, JPA/Hibernate, and query optimisation
Experience with Redis for caching and idempotency patterns
Solid understanding of REST API design, OpenAPI 3.0, and API versioning
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployment of microservices
Proficiency with JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing with Testcontainers
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
Understanding of bank-grade control requirements: audit trails, maker-checker, idempotency, and data integrity
