Job Summary

The Diploma Intern - Mechanical will undergo hands-on training in CNC machine tool manufacturing processes and support various engineering, production, assembly, quality, and maintenance activities. The intern will gain practical exposure to manufacturing operations, engineering drawings, quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly
Assist in machine assembly and sub-assembly activities.
Support production teams in achieving daily manufacturing targets.
Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Observe and understand manufacturing workflows and processes.

Quality Assurance
Assist in inspection of components and assemblies.




Support quality teams in maintaining documentation and records.
Learn measuring techniques using vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other inspection instruments.
Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues.

Engineering Support
Interpret basic engineering drawings and technical documents.
Assist in preparation and maintenance of process documentation.
Support design and manufacturing teams in engineering projects as assigned.

Maintenance Support
Assist in preventive maintenance activities of machines and equipment.
Report abnormalities observed during machine operations.
Support troubleshooting activities under supervision.

Continuous Improvement
Participate in Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM initiatives.
Suggest improvements related to productivity, safety, quality, and workplace organization.
