Position - Site Safety Officer
Department Workplace, Health & Safety

Location Pune, Maharashtra

Education - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Fire Safety are a solid advantage. Mandatory Certification ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) Non-negotiable requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Safety Management
Oversee EHS operations for multiple corporate interior fit-out projects across Pune, Mumbai, and other locations
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, safety walks, and compliance reviews
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, statutory requirements,



and client-specific EHS standards
Monitor critical high-risk activities including:
Working at heights
Electrical works
Hot work activities
Material handling
Confined space operations
Civil and MEP coordination activities

Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to Maharashtra/Mumbai local authority safety regulations and statutory requirements.
Maintain all EHS documentation including permits to work, inspection checklists, and safety logs
Liaise with client safety teams and government/statutory bodies as required
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly EHS reports to the Project Manager.

Coordination
Coordinate with the Project Manager, site engineers, and subcontractors on safety-related matters
Ensure compliance with fire safety, electrical safety, and working-at-height regulations specific to interior fitout projects.
