Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) with 7–8 years of relevant experience in the Paint, Coatings, or Chemical Industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the paint market, dealer and distributor management, sales development, and chemical-based products.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
Manage and expand the network of dealers, distributors, retailers, and contractors.
Develop current business opportunities and increase market share.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities.
Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities.
Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding receivables.
Coordinate with customers regarding product requirements, technical issues, and complaints.




Work closely with the production and technical teams for customer requirements.
Prepare sales reports, market feedback, forecasts, and MIS reports.
Monitor product movement, stock availability, and market demand.
Train and guide the sales team to achieve assigned targets.
Ensure proper implementation of company pricing, schemes, and sales policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Chemistry, or a related field.
7–8 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in the Paint, Coatings, or Chemical Industry.
Robust understanding of paint products, coatings, chemicals, and their applications.
Good knowledge of dealer/distributor networks and the local paint market.
Solid negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to achieve sales targets and develop recent markets.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
