Job Summary

Karunya University is looking for an experienced Senior HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment activities across academic and non-academic positions. The role will be responsible for talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, stakeholder coordination, interview management, and ensuring timely closure of vacancies.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
Understand manpower requirements and prepare effective recruitment strategies.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, referrals, databases, and qualified networks.
Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements and organizational standards.
Coordinate interviews with HODs, Deans, Directors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct preliminary HR interviews and assess candidates for suitability.
Maintain and manage candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
Prepare candidate profiles, evaluation summaries, and recruitment reports.
Coordinate salary discussions, offer management, documentation, and joining formalities.




Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
Develop solid relationships with recruitment agencies, consultants, and external talent sources.
Support employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and offer-to-joining ratio.
Ensure recruitment activities comply with institutional policies and applicable employment regulations.
Provide regular recruitment updates and reports to senior management.
