At Digital Palmy Inc., video is at the heart of our creative offering — from social-first Reels to brand films, product showcases, and event coverage. We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who can cut compelling narratives, understand platform-native formats, and bring visual stories to life. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Edit short-form and long-form video content across platforms — Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, brand films, and ad campaigns
Work closely with the creative team and client teams to understand brief requirements and deliver on brand
Handle complete post-production workflow: rough cut, colour grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and final export
Add subtitles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
Edit footage from shoots handled by the Video Production & Photography team
Adapt master videos into platform-specific formats (16:9,



9:16, 1:1, etc.)
Maintain organised project files, assets, and version control across client projects
Stay up to date with trending video styles, transitions, and social-first formats

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2–4 years of experience in video editing with a strong, demonstrable portfolio
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a robust plus
Solid understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling for digital audiences
Experience editing for social media platforms with knowledge of aspect ratios and format requirements
Basic colour correction and audio balancing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Robust communication skills to understand and incorporate feedback efficiently

POSITIVE TO HAVE
Motion graphics or basic animation skills (After Effects)
Experience with AI video tools (CapCut
