Position Purpose
The role holder shall report to the Head - New product Development and shall be responsible for testing of current active ingredients against target insect/disease/nematode species for the purpose of advancing the identified leads from the discovery to pre-development. Tracking the biology & toxicology study progress, data collection, analysis and storage in ELN.
Strategic Responsibilities
Remain at the cutting edge of knowledge required for the new a.i. discovery/development activity in crop protection through constant updating of personal knowledge and own skill-sets
Operational Responsibilities
Research Activities
Testing of recent active ingredients against target insect/disease/nematode species in the lab/GH/Field in the international locations
Planning and coordinating payments,
sample requirments of development & toxicology studies.
Monitoring the development & toxicology study progress, data collection, analysis and generating insights.
Troubleshoot and solve scientific problems.
Present results in cross-functional project teams and work across various projects / programs.
Documentation
Document and record findings in electronic notebook/research reports / papers for further dessimination / filing.
Process Adherance & improvements
Adhere to all safety / information security / quality norms related to research procedures.
Participate in process improvement inititatives under direction of Head – Recent Product Development.
