The Technical Presales Engineer serves as the primary technical bridge between the sales team, channel partners, and end customers. You will be responsible for designing high-impact Audio-Visual (AV) and Unified Communications (UC) solutions, driving product adoption through partner ecosystems, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the sales lifecycle. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in conferencing hardware/software and the commercial acumen to identify and nurture recent business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
\1. Solution Design & Technical Consultation\
* Architect comprehensive AV solutions, including boardrooms, huddle spaces, and large-scale integrated conferencing environments.
* Conduct site surveys and technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and translate them into Bill of Materials (BoM), line diagrams, and scope of work (SoW) documents.
* Deliver persuasive technical presentations and live product demonstrations that highlight USP and ROI.
\2. Partner Enablement & Business Development\
Lead strategic \partner meetings\* to introduce current product lines and roadmaps, positioning the brand as the preferred choice for their portfolio.
Proactively \identify current opportunities\* within partner accounts by analyzing market trends and end-user pain points.
* Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) during joint sales calls with partners to accelerate the closing of complex deals.
\3. Training & Knowledge Transfer\
Design and execute \technical training programs\* for partner engineering and sales teams to ensure they are self-sufficient in deploying and supporting the products.
* Provide regular updates on firmware, software integrations (e.g., Teams, Zoom), and industry standards to keep the partner ecosystem competitive.
