SMSF Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for an SMSF Executive to join our Australian KPO team and support the preparation and management of Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) accounting and compliance work for Australian clients.

The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in developing expertise in Australian SMSF processes and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare SMSF financial statements, workpapers, and tax returns as per Australian accounting and compliance requirements.
Perform bank, investment, contribution, rollover, pension, and other account reconciliations.
Process and maintain accurate records of SMSF transactions and supporting documentation.
Assist with SMSF compliance and audit preparation, including coordination with auditors and providing required information.
Assist in preparing GST, PAYG, and other tax-related calculations and reports, wherever applicable.
Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.




Communicate with senior team members and clients to obtain required information and resolve queries.
Stay updated with Australian SMSF, taxation, and compliance requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in Indian Accounting; experience in a CA firm is preferred.
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, and compliance.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Australian SMSF experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
