MIS Executive

Role Overview

Own the collection, validation and reporting of business data. Build and maintain dashboards, automate recurring reports, and deliver accurate numbers that drive daily decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and publish daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports and dashboards on time.
Extract, clean, consolidate and validate data from multiple systems and stakeholders.
Build automated trackers and reporting templates in Excel and Google Sheets.
Run trend and variance analysis; flag gaps, anomalies and improvement areas.
Handle ad-hoc data requests and prepare decks for management reviews.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance and HR for timely data inputs.
Automate manual, repetitive processes to cut turnaround time and errors.

Must-Have Skills
Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, nested logic, Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards; VBA/Macros a plus.
Google Sheets: QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, IMPORTRANGE, FILTER; Apps Script preferred.




Solid with numbers: comfortable with large datasets, ratios, percentages and variance; quick to spot data errors.
Computer smart: quick and self-sufficient across MS Office, business tools and file/data management.
Valuable to have: SQL, Power BI or Tableau; exposure to ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications or related field.
3–5 years of hands-on MIS / data reporting experience.
Networking and IT Hardware knowledge is a plus.
