At IPS, we are global leaders in developing creative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Project Manager, Life Sciences to join our dedicated team at our office in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad locations.
Position Responsibilities
Own end-to-end project delivery lifecycle from initiation to handover for Life Sciences projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Serve as the single point of accountability for delivery performance, managing internal teams, subcontractors, and client expectations.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, support proposal development, and ensure alignment of project goals with client and corporate objectives.
Lead or contribute to design development and budget planning activities with minimal supervision.
Build and maintain solid client relationships, especially within the pharmaceutical, biotech,



and R&D; industries, acting as a trusted advisor.
Identify delivery risks early, escalate appropriately, and work with Project Executives and Directors to implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee change control processes, ensuring proper communication and documentation of scope adjustments and additional service needs.
Direct multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors, ensuring coordinated and productive delivery across engineering, construction, commissioning, and validation phases.
Drive adherence to project governance, compliance requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA, MHRA), and documentation standards.
Maintain and update Project Execution Plans, meeting minutes, action item logs, and status dashboards.
Prepare and present regular internal and client-facing financial and schedule reports, flagging variances and recommending corrective actions.
