This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams across Cloud, Data, and Platform Engineering to deliver high-impact solutions supporting enterprise-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable, distributed software systems and work on other projects that require research, awareness, interactivity and the ability to ask the right questions.
Assist SME in providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into industry best practices, strategies, and architectures; and pursue skilled growth.
Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement to a technology solution whether it’s optimizing the performance of the system or identifying tech debt.
Key Requirements:
Experience with GCP Dataflow / Apache Beam
Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE)
Experience with data lake / data warehouse architecture
Knowledge of observability and monitoring frameworks
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
Robust programming expertise in Python
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including: BigQuery Cloud Run Pub/Sub
Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms
Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Harness
Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices-based design
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
