The Liaison Officer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective coordination between the Company and external stakeholders, including government departments, regulatory authorities, service providers and other relevant agencies. The role will ensure timely follow-up of approvals, licences, statutory matters, documentation and official communications.
Key Responsibilities1. Government & Regulatory Liaison
Liaise with relevant government departments, local authorities and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate for applications, registrations, licences, renewals and approvals.
Follow up on pending submissions and statutory matters.
Maintain effective qualified relationships with external authorities and stakeholders.
Documentation & Compliance Support
Coordinate the submission of required documents to government and regulatory authorities.
Maintain records of licences, registrations, approvals and official correspondence.
Track expiry dates and ensure timely renewal of licences and certificates.
Assist internal departments in obtaining necessary approvals and permissions.
External Coordination
Act as a point of contact between the Company and external agencies.
Coordinate with consultants, service providers and other third parties.
Represent the Company for routine official meetings and follow-ups, as authorised by Management.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of external coordination matters.
Follow-up & Relationship Management
Regularly follow up on pending applications, approvals and official requests.
Maintain a tracker of all ongoing liaison activities and their status.
Escalate delays or critical issues to the concerned Management team.
Build and maintain skilled relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Internal Coordination
Coordinate with departments such as HR, Finance, QA, Administration, Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs for documentation and information requirements.
