Key Responsibilities:
Plan procurement of direct and indirect materials in line with the production plan, shortage schedule, and PO release.
Follow up with suppliers and coordinate with SQA to improve supplier quality performance.
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and premium freight management.
Develop current suppliers with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
Drive cost reduction initiatives while ensuring zero production line stoppages.
Prepare and present various MIS reports to management.
Experience in the automobile industry is mandatory.
Willingness to travel to supplier/vendor locations (approximately 30% travel).
Robust supplier management, negotiation, and coordination skills.
