Job Description - VMC Operator / Programmer

Position: VMC Operator / Programmer
Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Job Responsibilities
Prepare 2D CNC programs as per engineering drawings.
Independently handle current job setup from start to production.
Perform machine setting, fixture setup, tool setting, and workpiece alignment.
Operate VMC machines and ensure components are produced within specified tolerances.
Read and understand engineering drawings and machining requirements.
Select suitable cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments.
Make program corrections and optimize cycle time when required.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
Follow quality, safety,



and 5S standards.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams to ensure smooth production.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of VMC machining experience.
Knowledge of 2D CNC programming (G & M Codes).
Ability to independently manage recent job setup and production.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per month
