Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software
Develop detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings
Create and update BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Modify existing designs based on project requirements
Coordinate with production, quality, and purchase departments for design execution
Ensure designs comply with technical specifications and manufacturing standards
Support prototype development, testing, and product improvement
Maintain design documentation and revision records
Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly
Qualifications:
Diploma (Polytechnic) or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Design Engineer in a manufacturing industry
Experience in industrial machinery or heavy engineering
Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
Familiarity with ERP software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
