ROLE SUMMARY
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business growth across the assigned territory. The role will lead distributor development, retail expansion across General Trade and Contemporary Trade, sales team performance, trade execution, collections, and territory development while ensuring strong market coverage and brand visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Territory Management
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across the assigned territory
Drive primary and secondary sales while ensuring healthy stock movement and adherence to inventory norms.
Develop territory plans to expand market coverage and maximize business opportunities.
Distribution & Market Expansion
Appoint, develop, and manage distributors to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
Expand retail coverage across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT).
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and trade partners.
Team Leadership & Execution
Lead, coach, and monitor Sales Officers / Sales Representatives to improve productivity and market execution.
Drive effective execution of trade marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and recent product launches.
