We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM , and mainframe testing . The ideal candidate should have robust problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in system testing, regression testing, and API testing , and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM .
Perform system testing (SIT), functional testing, and regression testing for mainframe applications.
Create, run, and execute JCLs , validate job statuses in spool , and troubleshoot JCL errors.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for mainframe database validation.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Insomnia and integrate automation using TOSCA or similar tools.
Track and monitor defects , execute test cases, and generate test reports and metrics .
Collaborate with BAs, Business Users,



and Scrum Teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .
Implement automation testing using TOSCA or Selenium (preferred).
Ensure compliance with organization-wide testing and development guidelines .

Mandatory Skills:
Mainframe Development & Testing (COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM)
API Testing (Postman, Insomnia)
Automation Testing (TOSCA – positive to have)

Preferred Skills (Valuable to Have):
Performance Testing (JMeter)
Experience in Agile methodologies and test automation
