You’ll join a team committed to clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and measurable community impact. Role & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose ocular conditions (refractive, cataract, glaucoma, retinal, strabismus), and prescribe appropriate medical or surgical interventions.
Perform routine and complex ophthalmic surgeries including phacoemulsification, LASIK, pterygium excision, and pediatric eye procedures with high precision and safety.
Lead patient counseling sessions on post-operative care, chronic condition management, and preventive eye health strategies.
Collaborate with optometrists, orthoptists, and clinic coordinators to streamline workflow,
reduce patient wait times, and maintain clinical documentation compliance (EMR/EHR).
Participate in community vision screening drives, school eye camps, and rural outreach programs to expand access to underserved areas.
Stay current with advances in ophthalmic therapeutics, surgical techniques, and regulatory guidelines; mentor junior clinical staff on best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (DO/DNB/MS)
Valid NMC registration with active license to practice in India
Proven experience in phacoemulsification and LASIK procedures
Proficiency in using slit lamp, tonometer, fundus camera, OCT, and auto-refractor
ACLS certification or equivalent emergency response training
Experience managing glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and pediatric eye cases
Fluency in English and at least one regional Indian language
