About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator
In this role, you will:
Review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries
Provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team and more experienced individuals in the credit approval process
Perform complex credit investigations on companies and industries
Utilize knowledge and interpretation of procedures to direct less experienced individuals
Interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
At least a B. Com or an equivalent degree preferably MBA
Overall commercial credit experience across diversified asset class (includes corporate entities and real estate asset class)
Positive knowledge on financial statements for various industries with ability to ascertain trends, ratios and call out key risks when compared to benchmarks (historical and industry performance).
Sound analytical thinking / high attention to detail with focus on research across various platforms
High level of personal motivation, solid interpersonal skills to work across time zone
Demonstrates solid ownership of work, ability to work independently, able to take judgement calls with realistic assumption and ability to articulate and present in the narratives.
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Intermediary to advanced excel skills would be a plus
