JOB PURPOSE

Support Lucy Electric's procurement function by sourcing, developing, and
managing suppliers for direct and indirect materials, ensuring cost-effective
procurement, quality compliance, and uninterrupted material availability to
support manufacturing operations.

JOB CONTEXT
Individual contributor role within the Purchasing & Materials function.
Responsible for supplier development, sourcing, negotiation, procurement
planning, and cost optimization.
Works closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and global
procurement teams.

JOB DIMENSIONS
Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials to support
production schedules.
Achieve annual cost reduction targets through strategic sourcing and
negotiations.
Maintain supplier delivery performance and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procurement
procedures.




Support localization and supplier development initiatives.
Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement documentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

These will include:
Source and develop suppliers in line with company purchasing policies and
quality requirements.
Obtain quotations, analyze commercial offers, and conduct techno-commercial
evaluations.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial
agreements with suppliers.
Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams for current supplier and component
development.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements before
sourcing activities.
Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
Identify and implement cost reduction and value engineering prospects.
