We are looking for a Product Owner who would work with the stakeholders to create a vision of the product they wish to create and repeatedly communicate that product vision to the teams, besides organizing, prioritizing and assessing work for our scrum team.Location : ChennaiExperience : 3 - 6 yearsNotice Period : Only Immediate to 2 weeksProduct Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.You will own a specific module that is built and be responsible for detailing out requirements, working with a functional consultant to write stories for development in tools like Jile/Jira used for managing the project deliverables.Ultimately, you will help us roll-out products that deliver our companys vision.Responsibilities :- Participate in all scrum ceremonies like Daily scrum call, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review & Sprint Retro- Liaise between teams and stakeholders including customers, business managers,



and the development team to ensure goals are transparent and vision is aligned with business objectives- Reduce uncertainty- Prioritize the need and manage the product backlogs- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap- Groom and prioritize backlog- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria- Set sprint goals- Write acceptance criteria- Plan releases and upgrades- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints- Analyze preferences and requests of end users- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback- Keep track of industry trendsRequirements and skills :- Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management- Work experience in Finance & Accounting domain/Financial products for at least 2 years- Certification as CSPO or equivalent is a must- Familiarity with agile is a must- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies- Team spirit and good communication abilities- Good organizational skills- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field (ref:hirist.tech)
