Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Team Leader (TL) – Service to supervise technicians, manage workshop workflow, ensure quality repairs, and support the Service Manager in achieving service targets and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the team of Service Technicians and Helper Technicians.
- Allocate repair and service jobs to technicians based on their skills and workload.
- Monitor the progress of all jobs and ensure timely completion.
- Diagnose and support technicians in resolving complex technical issues.
- Ensure motorcycles are serviced and repaired according to Royal Enfield standards and SOPs.
- Check the quality of repair and service work before vehicles move to Final Quality Inspection.
- Support technicians in identifying repeat complaints and technical issues.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, FQI, and Parts Department for smooth workshop operations.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and job completion.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
- Conduct test rides or technical checks when required.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians.
- Ensure proper handling and safety of customer motorcycles.
- Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Report technical concerns, pending jobs, and operational issues to the Service Manager.
- Assist in achieving workshop productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Ensure compliance with Royal Enfield service processes and safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in two-wheeler service, with relevant team-leading experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of motorcycles and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of workshop operations and service processes.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple repair jobs and manage workshop priorities.
- Customer-focused and quality-oriented approach.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
