We are looking for a Travel Consultant to understand customer travel requirements and plan suitable domestic and international trips. The role involves itinerary planning, bookings, customer coordination, sales, and ensuring a smooth travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel requirements and suggest suitable travel options.
- Plan customized itineraries based on customer needs and budget.
- Handle hotel, transport, sightseeing and other travel bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels, DMCs, vendors and other travel partners.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate with customers and close sales.
- Follow up with customers before and during their trip.
- Provide information about destinations, itineraries and travel arrangements.
- Handle customer queries and resolve travel-related issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and travel partners.
- Keep updated with destinations, tourism trends and travel products.
- Maintain records and ensure smooth coordination of travel arrangements.
Requirements
- Passion for travel and tourism.
- Good knowledge of domestic and/or international destinations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Good sales and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Valuable knowledge of travel software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business or a related field is preferred.
- Previous travel industry experience is an advantage.
