Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual testing and the ability to lead and manage day-to-day activities of the QA team.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications, identifying defects, coordinating with developers, and ensuring that testing activities are completed within the required timelines.

Responsibilities

- Handle and coordinate the QA/manual testing team.
- Assign testing tasks and monitor team progress.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Review test cases and testing reports prepared by team members.
- Coordinate with developers and project teams for timely resolution of defects.
- Analyze software requirements and identify potential testing risks.
- Prepare daily/weekly QA status reports and communicate testing progress.
- Ensure proper test coverage before software releases.
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations.
- Mentor and guide junior testers on testing processes and best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and release discussions.




- Maintain proper QA documentation and testing records.
- Take ownership of assigned testing projects and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

- 3–4 years of professional experience in Manual Software Testing/QA.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution.
- Experience with defect tracking and management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience in handling or mentoring a QA team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing and API testing will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities.
