About Crow Canyon Software
Crow Canyon Software has helped organizations get more from Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams for more than 27 years. Our platform, NITRO Studio, powers no-code workflow automation, help desk, and service management for over 5,000 organizations. Named customers include the State of California, the US Department of Justice, the US EEOC, Milliman, Air Wisconsin, Ballad Health, and The Salvation Army.
We are a privately held Microsoft Solutions Partner headquartered in Benicia, California, with a growing team in Hyderabad, India. We are SOC 2 Type II certified. Our marketing team is small, focused, and moves quickly. We are looking for a creative generalist to join us in Hyderabad.
The Role
We are hiring a rare hybrid: a creative who can design, produce videos end-to-end, and write both marketing content and product documentation. You will report to our VP of Marketing and own a range of work from the visual design to the video shoot and edit to the words. If you have ever wanted a role where you get to touch every part of a piece of content, and see it go live under your own hand, this is that role.
This is not a role for a specialist who wants to do only design, only video, or only writing. It is a role for a generalist who genuinely enjoys wearing all three hats. We know that combination is rare, and we are hiring for it deliberately.
What You Will Do in Graphic Design
- Design blog headers, social media graphics, and email banners aligned with the Crow Canyon brand.
- Build infographics from technical content, such as product comparison tables, workflow diagrams, and feature explainers.
- Create sales collateral: one-pagers, case study PDFs, and pitch deck slides.
- Produce visual assets for webinars, trade shows, and events.
- Maintain and evolve the Crow Canyon visual style guide as our brand grows.
Video creation and editing
- Plan, shoot, and produce videos from scratch: product walkthroughs, screen recordings, customer testimonial interviews, and short marketing videos.
- Write scripts, storyboards, and shot lists for the videos you create.
- Record voice-overs,
or coordinate with internal subject-matter experts when they appear on camera.
- Edit long-form pieces (product demos, webinar recordings) and cut short social videos (30 to 90 seconds) for LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
- Add captions, motion graphics, brand transitions, and lower-thirds.
- Manage a growing library of video source material and finished pieces so nothing gets lost.
Content writing and documentation
- Write and edit blog posts on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, help desk software, and workflow automation topics.
- Draft social media posts across LinkedIn, X, and Facebook in our established team voice.
- Write case study drafts based on customer interviews and internal notes.
- Create product documentation: user guides, how-to articles, help center content, feature explainers, and knowledge base articles for our NITRO Studio and NITRO Help Desk products.
- Maintain internal documentation such as brand guidelines, content style guides, and standard operating procedures for the marketing team.
- Support the VP of Marketing on longer marketing documents, such as competitive analyses, launch plans, and sales enablement pieces.
What We Are Looking For
- Zero to three years of hands-on experience across at least two of graphic design, video production, or content writing. Freshers with a strong portfolio and clear evidence of all three skills are welcome to apply.
- A portfolio showing your design work, at least two or three finished videos you shot and edited (not only edited from someone else's footage), and two or three writing samples covering both marketing content and how-to or product documentation.
- Fluency in industry-standard tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,
Premiere Pro, After Effects), or equivalents like Figma, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. Canva for lighter work is fine, but you should be comfortable in professional tools too.
- Comfort with basic video production: screen recording, straightforward in-office shoots (natural or basic lighting, one or two subjects), clean audio capture, and voice-over recording.
- Strong writing skills in English, with the ability to translate technical content into clear writing for two different audiences: marketing readers (blog and social) and product users (help articles, user guides, how-to documentation).
- Comfort working with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). You will be creating content about them, so you should be a confident user.
- Self-management. This role has a lot of independent work, so you should be comfortable owning your own schedule, priorities, and quality bar.
- A pragmatic, professional creative sensibility. Our audience is IT leaders, CIOs, HR directors, and finance decision-makers. Our brand voice is explicit, direct, and helpful. No excess flourishes.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for B2B SaaS, IT service management, or Microsoft 365 audiences.
- Technical writing experience, particularly product documentation, help center articles, or user guides for software products.
- Working knowledge of SEO and answer-engine optimization best practices.
- Motion graphics skills in After Effects or similar.
- Basic screen-recording tool skills (Camtasia, Loom, ScreenPal, or OBS).
- Basic web design skills (HTML, CSS, or a page builder like Webflow).
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo.
- Familiarity with our category: help desk software, business process automation, SharePoint, or Teams-native applications.
Compensation
INR 3,00,000 to INR 5,00,000 per year (CTC), depending on experience and the mix of skills you bring across design, video, and writing.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
