Special Educator – Job Description

Job Title: Special Educator

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Educator to support children with learning, developmental, behavioural, and educational needs through individualized intervention and structured learning programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess children’s educational and developmental needs.

- Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans.

- Provide one-to-one and small-group sessions.

- Support children with learning difficulties, developmental delays, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other special educational needs.

- Develop academic, communication, social, behavioural, and functional skills.

- Use appropriate teaching methods, activities, and learning materials.

- Monitor and document children’s progress regularly.

- Communicate with parents regarding the child’s progress and home-based activities.





- Coordinate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other professionals.

- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports.

- Participate in parent meetings, case discussions, and clinic activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent.

- Relevant certification/registration, where applicable.

- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong interest in working with children with special educational needs.

Pay: ₹10,216.18 - ₹20,000.00 per month
