About the Role

Ocean Sky Logistics is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Customs Documentation & EDI Filing professional to support our Import & Export customs clearance activities.

The role will involve EDI filing, customs documentation, shipment coordination and G Card-related customs clearance activities for Air and Sea Import & Export shipments.

We welcome applications from both experienced customs professionals and freshers who are interested in building a career in Customs Clearance and International Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle EDI filing for Import & Export shipments.
- Prepare and verify customs-related documentation before filing.
- Coordinate with customers, exporters, importers, Customs Brokers, CHA, Customs authorities and internal operations teams.
- Assist in preparation and filing of Bill of Entry (BE) and Shipping Bill (SB).
- Check commercial invoices, packing lists, AWB/BL and other supporting documents.
- Ensure accuracy of shipment and customs data before EDI submission.
- Follow up on customs queries, examination, assessment and clearance requirements.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for amendments, queries and document requirements.
- Maintain proper records of customs filings and shipment documentation.
- Track the status of customs clearance and provide updates to the operations/customer-service team.
- Coordinate with airport/port, CFS/ICD and other relevant stakeholders where required.




- Ensure timely completion of documentation and filing to avoid shipment delays.
- Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies and customs-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer and shipment information.

G Card Responsibilities

Candidates with G Card eligibility/experience will be responsible for supporting customs clearance activities within their authorized scope.

Experience with G Card operations, customs documentation, examination coordination and customs clearance procedures will be an advantage.

For Experienced Candidates

Candidates with previous experience in:

- Customs clearance
- EDI filing
- Import & Export documentation
- CHA/Customs Broker operations
- Air Cargo Customs
- Sea Port/CFS/ICD Customs
- Bill of Entry
- Shipping Bill
- Customs examination and assessment
- G Card-related customs work

will be preferred.

For Freshers

Freshers with an interest in Customs Clearance, Import & Export and International Logistics are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have:

- Graduate degree/diploma.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn customs procedures and EDI filing.




- Ability to work with documents and data accurately.
- Responsible and disciplined approach to work.

Training will be provided to suitable freshers.
