Performs Material Inspection to Ensure Compliance with Specifications
- Selects and utilizes appropriate measurement techniques, tools, and equipment to perform dimensional, material, and visual inspection verification of incoming product for compliance to engineering drawings, standards, and specifications
- Reports inspection findings on Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and PPA’s as needed. Uploads and manages appropriate documentation in corporate quality documentation system (Quest).
- Enters CAPAs for nonconforming products and ensure the NC’s lots are moved to Quarantine areas.
- Supports the completion of inspection on time & ensure the shipment is not delayed due to inspection process.
- Carrying out the visual inspection as per the AQL & ensure the key defects are identified properly if any.
Manages Quality Calibration Requirements.
- Manages on time delivery and administers calibration system and ensures that the equipment and quality tools are kept current.
