Job title: Graduate Engineer Trainee – Production Supervisor

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on the shop floor. This is an entry-level role suitable for individuals passionate about manufacturing, process discipline, and quality compliance. The candidate will work closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth assembly, testing, and dispatch operations in our automotive systems manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets, timelines, and quality standards are met.

 Coordinate with material handling, stores, and quality departments to ensure part availability and defect-free output.

 Support the team in assembly line setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting .

 Maintain shift-wise production reports, downtime logs, and performance records

 Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and 5S practices on the shop floor.





 Participate in process improvement initiatives, defect analysis, and corrective actions.

 Train and guide operators on process discipline and work instructions.

 Report abnormalities, delays, or deviations to the Production Manager for timely resolution.

Education :
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Automobile
Engineering
Experinence :
0–1 year Hands-on experience in a manufacturing setup (internship/training experience preferred)

 Strong understanding of basic production processes, work instructions, and quality awareness

 Willingness to work in shifts and learn continuously on the job Desired skills:

 Good communication and coordination skills

 Basic understanding of 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing concepts

 Capable of reading basic engineering drawings and following SOPs

 Hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset

 Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools is a plus

Physical Requirements:  100% office work.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
