Job Title: Architectural Draftsman

Department: Architecture
Reporting To: Design Head/Director
Location: Greater Noida West
Experience: 3–5 years preferred

Job Purpose

The Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and construction details based on the designs and instructions provided by architects and senior design professionals. The role ensures that drawings are technically accurate, updated, and suitable for execution at site.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings as per approved designs.
- Develop working drawings and construction drawings for execution at project sites.
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant architectural software.
- Prepare detailed drawings for doors, windows, staircases, walls, flooring, ceilings, furniture, and other architectural elements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, electrical, plumbing, and other services drawings.
- Make revisions and modifications to drawings based on comments from architects, consultants, clients, and site teams.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision history, documentation, and drawing records.




- Ensure all drawings follow applicable building codes, project specifications, company standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Assist architects in preparing drawings for municipal approvals, permissions, and statutory submissions, wherever required.
- Coordinate with the site execution team to resolve drawing-related issues and provide necessary clarifications.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction details.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and architectural terminology.
- Positive understanding of plans, sections, elevations, and working drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawings/projects.

Qualification

- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Assistantship, or related field.
- Relevant experience in architectural drafting, construction, real estate, or interior projects preferred.
