AGM – Spare Parts: Job Profile

- Spare parts planning: Forecast demand and ensure the right parts are available at the right time.
- Inventory management: Control stock levels, ageing inventory, shortages, and excess stock.
- Procurement & supply: Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, dealers, and logistics teams.
- Dealer network support: Ensure timely supply of spare parts to Maruti Suzuki dealerships.
- Business performance: Monitor parts sales, revenue, margins, and inventory turnover.
- Team management: Lead spare-parts teams, set targets, review performance, and develop employees.
- Cost control: Reduce logistics, inventory, and procurement costs while maintaining service levels.
- Supplier management: Review supplier performance, quality, delivery, pricing, and capacity.
- MIS & reporting: Prepare management reports, forecasts, KPIs, and presentations.
- Customer/service support: Improve parts availability and support after-sales service operations.




- Process improvement: Implement systems and initiatives to improve availability, productivity, and efficiency.
- Cross-functional coordination: Work with Production, Purchase, Sales, Service, Finance, Quality, and Logistics.

Key KPIs can include parts availability, inventory turnover, stock ageing, fill rate, forecast accuracy, parts sales, working capital, logistics cost, and dealer service level.
