Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and general upkeep of guest rooms, common areas, and property facilities. The Houseman supports housekeeping operations and ensures guests receive a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained stay.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, apartments, villas, bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and common areas.
- Make beds, change bed linen, towels, curtains, and other housekeeping items as required.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize all assigned areas.
- Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, appliances, windows, and other property facilities.
- Replenish toiletries, drinking water, tissue, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
- Assist with check-in and check-out room preparation.
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linen and towels when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and surrounding property.
- Report maintenance problems, damages, missing items, or safety concerns to the supervisor/manager.
- Handle guest requests related to housekeeping promptly and courteously.
- Assist with luggage handling, room setup, furniture movement, and other guest-service requirements when needed.
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials, toiletries, linen,



and other housekeeping supplies.
- Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation at all times.
- Support other household/property duties as assigned by the property manager.

Requirements

- Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel, resort, service apartment, homestay, villa, or domestic property management is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and lifting duties.
- Honest, reliable, punctual, and well-groomed.
- Polite and respectful when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Basic communication skills in English and/or the local language.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays when required.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
