Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
- Review product specifications and user stories, translating them into detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases
- Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to plan and define quality testing for user stories throughout sprint cycles
- Execute test runs and document results thoroughly
- Prepare clear, comprehensive notes and communicate findings to the development team
- Perform retesting to ensure defects are resolved and the product is ready for Product Owner acceptance
- Conduct regression testing to ensure scheduled deployments do not impact existing functionality
- Identify areas suitable for test automation and recommend effective solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and team practices
- Utilize tools such as Rally to manage test cases and track defects
- Perform and document root cause analysis on identified defects
- Test RESTful and SOAP APIs to validate integration and backend behavior
- Apply strong SQL skills to query, validate, and analyze complex datasets, supporting backend and data‑driven testing
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with Generative AI development tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to current products and technologies
- Proven experience translating requirements into clear, actionable test cases
- Strong communication skills with excellent documentation capabilities
- Experience working with databases, strong SQL proficiency, and hands‑on automation testing skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Demonstrate hands on experience with AWS cloud services
- Perform API automation
- Hold mainframe experience to support testing of legacy and core systems
- Develop automation frameworks for Regression and Smoke test suites
