We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and appropriateness.
- Maintain pharmacy stock, inventory, and medicine expiry records.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of medications.
- Provide medication counseling and relevant drug information to patients.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Pharm or M.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Valid Pharmacist Registration/License.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle responsibilities independently.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, if required.
