Job Summary
George Maijo Automobiles is looking for a customer-focused and experienced Service Advisor to join our Service Department. The Service Advisor will be responsible for handling customer vehicle service requirements, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, explaining service recommendations and costs, and ensuring a smooth and satisfactory service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Conduct preliminary vehicle inspection and accurately record customer concerns.
- Prepare job cards and explain the required service work to customers.
- Provide estimates regarding service, repairs, parts, and additional work.
- Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of work.
- Keep customers updated on the progress and status of their vehicles.
- Recommend additional repairs, maintenance, and value-added services when required.
- Conduct follow-ups for service approvals and additional repair work.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery and explain the completed work to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Maintain proper service records and update customer details in the system/CRM.
- Coordinate with the Parts, Workshop, and Customer Relationship teams.
- Achieve assigned service targets and follow dealership service processes.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and collect feedback.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience in automobile service, workshop operations, or customer service will have an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of automobiles and vehicle components is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand customer concerns and explain service-related information clearly.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to learn dealership service processes and customer service standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Valid driving license preferred.
