Senior Accountant

Location: Mumbai | Experience: 3+ years | Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of Atom Eats’ books and accounting function. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting while also building systems, processes and controls as the business scales.

What You’ll Do

- Take complete ownership of books of accounts and day-to-day accounting
- Manage bank, vendor, customer, payment gateway, marketplace and inventory reconciliations
- Own month-end closing and ensure books are accurate, timely and audit-ready
- Set up and improve accounting systems, processes and internal controls
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and MIS reports
- Manage receivables, payables, collections and vendor payments
- Own GST, TDS and other statutory compliances, coordinating with external CAs as required
- Coordinate with auditors, banks,



consultants and other financial partners
- Identify gaps, leakages and inefficiencies in existing processes and implement solutions
- Support cash-flow planning, budgeting and financial forecasting

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a startup, D2C, FMCG or retail business
- Robust understanding of accounting, GST, TDS and financial statements
- Hands-on experience managing books independently
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently
- Someone who is comfortable building processes, not just following them

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
