A Video Editor who can turn dense tech and AI concepts into scroll-stopping, shareable content. You should be as comfortable trimming a podcast as you are dropping a meme reference that makes a technical explainer actually fun to watch.

Required Skills

- Proven experience editing tech, AI, SaaS, or educational content — the portfolio must show this, not just general lifestyle/brand edits.
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro OR Adobe Premiere Pro OR DaVinci Resolve
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations
- Comfortable using AI-powered editing/creation tools (e.g., Runway, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, AI B-roll/image generators, auto-captioning, AI-assisted rough cuts) as part of a daily workflow, not just familiarity in theory.
- Strong meme literacy and internet culture awareness — able to spot formats/trends and adapt them into short-form edits.
- Creative, idea-driven approach — comfortable pitching hooks, edit styles, and formats, not just executing a brief.
- Strong grasp of video editing fundamentals: storytelling, pacing, sound design, visual composition.
- Basic conceptual understanding of AI/tech topics (LLMs, tools, product terminology) — enough to visually represent ideas accurately without hand-holding.
- Proficient in Tamil and English — written and spoken.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

- Experience repurposing long-form content (podcasts, YouTube)

- Familiarity with programming/dev culture — helps when editing dev-focused content.
- Motion graphic template design experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form and short-form content for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Use AI tools to speed up editing, generate supporting visuals/B-roll, and enhance production value.
- Build engaging edits using cuts, transitions, sound design, motion graphics, and text animation.
- Translate complex AI/tech concepts into simple, visually engaging storytelling — using memes, pop culture, and trend-aware formatting where relevant.
- Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content optimized for each platform.
- Stay on top of meme trends, edit styles, and short-form formats that are currently working.
- Collaborate with the content and creative team on hooks, formats, and edit direction.

Ideal Candidate

A creative, internet-native, technically curious editor who lives in both editing software and meme culture — someone who can make an AI explainer feel as watchable as entertainment content, and who treats AI tools as part of their creative toolkit, not just their subject matter.

Portfolio: Must include at least one tech/AI-related edit and one short-form/meme-style edit.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
