About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at SpiderWorks, Calicut. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and pacing, with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content.

You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and content teams to produce videos for social media, digital campaigns, branding, advertisements, and other marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing, advertisements, and brand communication.
- Transform raw footage into engaging and visually appealing content.
- Create short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, corporate videos, and other digital content.
- Add appropriate transitions, effects, motion graphics, sound effects, music, and subtitles.
- Ensure videos are aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, marketers, and other team members.
- Manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines.
- Review and refine edits based on feedback.
- Stay updated with current video trends,



editing styles, and social media formats.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is an added advantage.
- Robust understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, colour, and audio.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Knowledge of transitions, effects, subtitles, and motion graphics
- Basic color correction and audio editing skills
- Understanding of video formats and export settings
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
