About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing procurement. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, sourcing materials, quotation comparison, purchase orders, negotiations, and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

 Source and develop vendors for engineering materials, components, equipment, and fabrication items.

 Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

 Prepare and process Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.

 Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

 Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Stores, Accounts, and Project teams.

 Maintain purchase records, vendor data, quotations, and order status.

 Support cost reduction and vendor development initiatives.





 Ensure procurement as per required quality and technical specifications. Skills & Qualifications

 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / related field.

 2–3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in an engineering or manufacturing company.

 Knowledge of engineering materials, fabrication items, machinery, and industrial components.

 Good negotiation, vendor management, and follow-up skills.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase software.

 Positive communication and coordination skills.

Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
