Reports to: Head of Operations / Management
Employment Type: Full-time Role Purpose The Materials Manager will be responsible for the complete movement, control, inspection, storage, packing, and dispatch of materials at SISCO’s Head Office.
The role will ensure that all inward and outward materials are properly verified, documented, stored, and dispatched on time and in good condition.
The position requires solid ownership of inventory accuracy, pre-delivery inspection, material traceability, packing quality, and coordination with procurement, sales, projects, service, accounts, transporters, and customers.

Key Responsibilities 1. Material Inward and Receipt Manage the receipt of all incoming materials, equipment, components, consumables, and customer-returned items.
Verify received materials against purchase orders, supplier invoices, delivery challans, packing lists, and other supporting documents.
Check quantities, specifications, model numbers, serial numbers, and the physical condition of all received items. Record shortages, excess quantities, incorrect supplies, transit damage, or quality concerns and promptly coordinate with the relevant departments.
Ensure timely preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and completion of all inward documentation. Arrange proper identification, labelling, and storage of received materials.
Maintain appropriate records for customer-owned, project-specific, demo, replacement,



and service-related materials.
2. Pre-Delivery Inspection Conduct or coordinate pre-delivery inspections before materials or equipment are dispatched.
Verify that products match the approved customer order, technical specifications, quantities, and required accessories.
Check the physical condition, completeness, cleanliness, functionality, and presentation of the products.
Confirm model and serial numbers and ensure that relevant manuals, certificates, warranty documents, and supporting accessories are included.
Maintain inspection checklists and obtain the necessary internal approvals before dispatch.
Prevent incomplete, damaged, unapproved, or incorrectly configured materials from being dispatched.
3. Inventory Management Maintain accurate, item-wise inventory records in the approved ERP, inventory system, or registers. Ensure every inward, outward, transfer, return, replacement, and adjustment is recorded promptly.
Organize materials systematically to enable easy identification, traceability, and retrieval. Establish and maintain suitable storage locations, item codes, labels, and bin identification.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, nonmoving stock, and obsolete materials.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification. Investigate inventory discrepancies and submit reconciliation reports to management. Ensure the safe storage and handling of sensitive, fragile, high-value, or technically specialized equipment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
