Job Title: Senior Mechanic

· Department: Fleet Maintenance / Workshop Operations

· Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Fleet Manager

· Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

· Advanced Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and manual inspection to identify complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

· Complex Repairs: Overhaul and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, differentials, and suspension systems.

· Leadership & Mentoring: Guide, supervise, and train junior mechanics and assistant technicians.

· Quality Control: Conduct final test drives and inspections to verify repairs before returning equipment to service.

· Maintenance Planning: Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and manage repair records, parts inventory, and work orders.





Safety Compliance: Ensure the workshop follows environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: ITI trade certificate (Diesel/Motor Mechanic)

· Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience working on automotive, fleet, or heavy-duty machinery.

· Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of BSVI diesel commercial Buss and electronic control units (ECUs).

· Salary: 30 to 40 k

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
