About the Role

OXL Film Making School is seeking a skilled and passionate Video Editor & VFX Trainer for a dual-responsibility role. You will produce high-standard post-production assets for the academy while mentoring aspiring filmmakers and VFX artists through practical, hands-on classroom training.

Key Responsibilities

⚬ Training & Mentorship:

⚬ Deliver structured, hands-on training sessions in video editing workflows, visual effects, motion graphics, and color grading.

⚬ Mentor students through live projects, showreel development, assignments, and portfolio reviews.

⚬ Track student progress, evaluate practical assessments, and ensure adherence to contemporary industry standards.

⚬ In-House Editing & VFX Production:

⚬ Edit, color-correct, and composite high-quality video content for promotional campaigns, institute showcases, and masterclasses.

⚬ Execute visual effects tasks including green screen removal, rotoscoping,



camera tracking, cleanup, and 2D/3D compositing.

⚬ Manage end-to-end post-production workflows from raw footage ingestion to final mastering and export.

Key Requirements & Skills

⚬ Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in video editing, motion design, and VFX compositing. Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is highly preferred.

⚬ Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and industry-standard compositing tools (e.g., Nuke, Blender, or Cinema 4D).

⚬ Technical Mastery: Solid understanding of audio sync, multi-cam editing, color science (LUTs, color space transforms), pacing, frame rates, and visual storytelling.

⚬ Communication: Strong English and Hindi verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical workflows in simple, actionable terms.

⚬ Portfolio: A verifiable showreel demonstrating expertise in both editing and visual effects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
