About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Machining & Welding professional to drive an Axle Flange Welding, Machining & Weld Assembly project. You will own process development, capacity planning, and quality improvement, and lead execution from development through production stabilization for axle and driveline components.

What You'll Do

- Develop and optimize CNC machining and welding processes for axle/driveline components
- Manage axle flange machining, weld assembly, and related component operations
- Develop and validate machining/welding fixtures, tooling, and process parameters
- Conduct cycle-time, machine capacity, and line balancing studies
- Control weld distortion, runout, concentricity, and dimensional accuracy
- Lead new product/process development, trials, validation, and PPAP
- Drive rejection reduction, productivity improvement, and process capability initiatives
- Conduct supplier process audits, capacity verification, and supplier development
- Resolve manufacturing issues using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, and other RCA techniques

What You Bring

- Robust hands-on experience with CNC Turning, VMC, and HMC machining
- Solid knowledge of MIG/MAG welding and weld assembly
- Strong grasp of GD&T;, drawing interpretation, and inspection methods




- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA
- Experience with tooling, fixtures, gauges, and process improvement
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing quality standards
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and independent project management skills
- Good communication, coordination, and team-handling capability
- Willingness to work closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Experience with axle shafts, axle flanges, stub yokes, weld yokes, tubes, or other driveline components is highly preferred.
