Role Summary

We are looking for a Finance Analyst who can work at the intersection of finance, data and business operations. The role will involve working with financial and operational data, building reports and dashboards, performing financial analysis, and translating data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data

- Extract, consolidate, clean and structure financial and operational data from multiple sources.
- Build structured datasets and data models to support recurring and ad-hoc analysis.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and anomalies and perform necessary validation and sanity checks.

Reports

- Develop and maintain MIS, financial and business performance reports and dashboards.
- Automate and streamline recurring reporting processes wherever possible.
- Present complex datasets in a clear and actionable format for business stakeholders.

Analysis

- Analyse financial and operational performance across revenue,



costs, profitability, working capital and other key business metrics.
- Perform variance, trend and ratio analysis to identify key drivers of business performance.
- Support costing, valuation and other FinOps analyses, including financial sanity checks.
- Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for business decision-making.

Business

- Partner with Growth, Operations and Finance stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Use data to evaluate business performance, identify inefficiencies and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives across Finance and business operations.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Financial Analysis, FP&A;, Business Finance, MIS or Data Analytics.
- Experience in D2C, FMCG, e-commerce or retail is a plus.
- Strong finance fundamentals with valuable analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with experience working with large datasets and building reports.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and hands-on experience with Looker Studio, Power BI or similar reporting tools, with an understanding of data modelling and automation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
