Role Overview:

· We are seeking a competent Planning Engineer to oversee the planning and development of real estate projects from the initial feasibility stage through design development and approvals.

· The role will involve working closely with external architects, consultants, and internal management to assess development potential, evaluate alternative planning models, and arrive at the most suitable project configuration.

· The ideal candidate should have strong planning and coordination abilities, sound understanding of development regulations, and be capable of maintaining comprehensive project documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Feasibility

· Undertake preliminary planning and feasibility assessment of proposed real estate projects.

· Review site details, development potential, applicable planning parameters and project requirements.

· Evaluate different development models and planning options to identify the most suitable and commercially viable solution.

· Provide planning inputs and feasibility assessments to management for decision-making.

Architectural & Consultant Coordination

· Coordinate with external architects and consultants for preparation and development of project plans.

· Review architectural proposals and provide inputs based on project requirements, feasibility and applicable regulations.

· Coordinate design iterations and modifications to arrive at the most suitable planning solution.

· Follow up with architects and consultants on drawings, revisions, clarifications and pending deliverables.

Planning & Regulatory Compliance





· Examine proposed plans to ensure conformity with applicable bye-laws, development control regulations and building requirements.

· Identify planning constraints and potential issues at the preliminary and design stages.

· Coordinate with architects and consultants for necessary modifications and compliance requirements.

· Assist in the planning and coordination of statutory approvals and related submissions.

Project Documentation & Record Management

· Organise, maintain and update all project planning records, drawings, approvals, correspondence and technical documentation.

· Maintain proper records of all design iterations, revisions, submissions and approvals.

· Ensure documentation is systematically maintained for management review, compliance and future reference.

· Prepare and maintain planning reports, project status updates and other documentation as required.

Coordination & Monitoring

· Coordinate with internal management, architects, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure timely progress of planning activities.

· Track key planning deliverables, submissions and approvals and follow up on pending matters.

· Identify planning-related bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for their resolution.





· Maintain a clear record of project progress from initial feasibility through planning and approval stages.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· B.E. / Engineering Degree or equivalent qualified qualification.

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate development, planning, architecture, engineering consultancy or a related field.

· Good understanding of planning processes, development regulations and building requirements.

· Strong organisational, coordination and documentation skills.

· Ability to evaluate alternatives, identify constraints and arrive at practical planning solutions.

· High sense of responsibility, discretion and professionalism.
