Job Description

- Discover and classify PII/sensitive data across databases, applications, file stores, and integrations.
- Create and maintain data inventories, data-flow maps, and records of processing.
- Map data collection, storage, processing, retention, sharing, and erasure paths.
- Use data discovery/cataloguing tools and perform secure, least-privilege scanning.
- Support DPIAs, gap assessments, consent, DSAR, erasure workflows, and breach impact analysis.
- Validate and reconcile discovery results with data owners while ensuring secure handling of personal data.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Discovery.
- Robust SQL and experience with databases, file systems,



and multiple data sources.
- Experience with data discovery, classification, metadata, or data cataloguing tools.
- Understanding of PII, sensitive data, data flows, retention, and data privacy concepts.
- Familiarity with ETL/data pipelines and preferably Python or SQL automation.

Preferred

- Knowledge of DPDP Act 2023 / DPDP Rules or privacy frameworks such as GDPR.
- Experience in data inventory, privacy, governance, or regulated environments.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
