Job Summary

You will operate reactors, mixers, pumps, and valves to process chemical ingredients safely and efficiently. Your role includes measuring materials, monitoring system gauges, and performing quality control checks.

Key Responsibilities

· Process Operations: Start and stop reactors, agitators, and pumps. Open or close valves to regulate temperature, pressure, and flow rates.

· Batch Preparation: Weigh, measure, and charge raw materials into vessels following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch sheets.

· Monitoring & Control: Watch gauges, meters, and control panels (DCS or PLC interfaces) to track reactions and tank levels.

· Quality Testing: Take product samples during the cycle and test for pH, viscosity, or purity to meet specifications.

· Packaging & Handling: Transfer finished products into drums, totes, or trucks,



and apply proper shipping labels.

· Safety & Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), use lockout/tag out (LOTO) procedures, and report hazards immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

· Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50–55 lbs. and wear a respirator or full face mask when required.

· Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and straightforward computer literacy for data logging.

· Experience: Previous manufacturing or forklift operation experience is a strong plus.
