Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Mechanical to supervise and manage mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and machinery issues.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and allocate daily work.
- Monitor the condition and performance of machines, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, breakdown records, and service reports.
- Ensure timely replacement and availability of critical spare parts.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for maintenance spares and requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper maintenance practices and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain maintenance-related documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and productivity.

Required Skills





- Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial machinery systems.
- Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of maintenance tools, techniques, and spare parts.
- Good team supervision and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP/Odoo maintenance modules will be an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial plant will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong Maintenance Supervisor who can independently handle mechanical maintenance activities, lead the maintenance team, minimize breakdowns, and ensure maximum machine availability.
